Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeLeading Hand – Onsite ReceivablesReporting to the Supervisor Pallets, Chiller and OSR, the successful candidate will have a proven background in warehousing and logistics with prior experience in leading a team.What you will be doing:Lead the team to ensure objectives are achieved and services are provided in an effective and timely manner;Ensure cargo is received in an orderly manner together with the completion of accurate and timely documentation;Assist other team members to enable prompt and effective customer care;Delegate and prioritise workloads for staff;Maintain accurate quality documentation as per processes and procedures;Maintain awareness of and compliance with health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.What we require from you:Demonstrated practical experience receiving and consolidating freight, and dispatching processes based on defined processes and procedures;Experience in supervising a team;Leadership and people management skills;Demonstrated experience coordinating and implementing plans, policies and procedures to support organisational objectives;Demonstrated customer service experience;Experience in basic SAP, Microsoft Office and Sea Swift business systems;Forklift licence.About the company:Sea Swift is Northern Australia's largest shipping company, with an extensive marine transport network ensuring that the world is at our customers' doorstep.You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role.
