Dairy Technician

Senior Dairy Farm Hand position available on a 500 cow family owned & operated dairy farm located in Byrneside, Victoria (20km's from Shepparton).The farm is set on 1200 acres of irrigated pastures & crops across 4 properties.The dairy is a 50 stand modern rotary with automatic cup removers, milk metres, automatic teat spray & automatic draft.Working closely with the owner & manager, we are seeking an experienced farm hand capable of working in a team and independently.The successful candidate will be required to have skills in the following areas:Operation of the mixer wagon and deliver balanced mixes to the herd.Weed Management.Machinery Operation (sowing, mowing, spraying, loader wagon, effluent spreading etc.).Irrigation.Calving.Pasture management.The following attributes are required:Time Management.Reliable.Applicant must have 3-5 years experience, current driver's license & reliable vehicle.This position has on-farm accommodation available to the right person and casual milkings for a partner if required.To apply, please send a cover letter and CV with 3 references to ******.
