We are actively sourcing an experienced D&T Asset Analyst to join our Technical Support Team in St Vincent's Health Australia. You will be pivotal in the ongoing management of our IT assets and services by maintaining a comprehensive and accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB), assisting with the management of software licensing, and ensuring the IT purchasing catalogue is current and fit for purpose.
This position is Permanent Full Time and will be based out of our Sydney Group Office. This position is essential in the operational efficiency and financial health of St Vincent's as an organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:Oversee the entire lifecycle of D&T/IT assets and maintain/update inventory of all IT assets within the organisation.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the business receives the best value and fit-for-purpose devices.Manage asset tagging systems and identify and assess risks within the asset management system.Track and analyse costs associated with assets and report on this data to stakeholders at varying levels.Conduct regular audits of software usage and installations, and work with vendors to manage licensing costs, features, and the deployment of new software licences and other general stock management.Things That Work for Us:Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional documentation skills.Demonstrated experience in a similar role such as an IT Support role preferably within an ITIL aligned organisation.Customer service focused, exceptional attention to detail and a very good phone manner.Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) and/or ITIL Certification - desirable.Proficiency or a good understanding of current Microsoft technologies (server, desktop, applications).Network troubleshooting, PC hardware and peripherals knowledge and skills.Current 2024 Flu Vaccine and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations – mandatory.Things That Work for You:Ability to visibly see your impact on the business and its service.Competitive salary packaging options.Discounted private health insurance.Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families.Access to the Fitness Passport (FP).Why Become Part of St Vincent's Health Australia:Because there is so much heart here.
