Your role As a Cyberspace Warfare Analyst in the Air Force, you'll be responsible for protecting Air Force's information, systems, and capabilities from cyberspace attack. You'll use advanced communications technology to perform a variety of highly technical threat attack techniques, digital forensics, and threat hunting to support Air Force operations and missions. Your duties may include: Planning, developing, integrating, and employing cyberspace warfare techniques in contribution to Information Superiority in a contested cyberspace environment. Performing incident response tasks including the identification, triage, forensic analysis and remediation of potentially compromised Air Force and Joint networks and platforms. Performing discovery and counter-infiltration tasks including the discovery of sophisticated adversaries, and the development of technical countermeasure options. Performing cyberspace operations planning tasks including the conduct of deliberate and immediate planning, integration, and coordination of cyberspace operations into air operations. Performing threat emulation tasks including the simulation of cyberspace threat tactics, techniques, and procedures. Location Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.
