About the role The Cyber Security, Data and Digital Resilience Division is seeking a Cyber Security Project Coordinators to join our team.
Reporting to the relative Cyber Security Project Manager, this newly established role will work closely with the responsible project managers to support the implementation of the Victorian Government's two-year Cyber Enhancement Program. This role will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the project management activities for the Cyber Assurance and Maturity Uplift, and Basic Cyber Security Control project stream of the program.
The successful candidate will assist in the coordination and management of multiple projects within the Cyber Security Enhancement Program, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate closely with Cyber Security Project Managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against established milestones.
The successful candidate will be expected to monitor and track the project risks, issues and dependencies in a timely manner, and coordinate communications with a range of stakeholders not limited to vendors, managed service providers, commonwealth government partners, and state government entities to ensure clarity of objectives and effective resolution of issues.
About you As our ideal candidate, you will have:
A proven track record in ICT project coordination or project management role for government or enterprise.Strong critical analysis skills, high attention to detail and excellent writing ability with capacity to produce concise correspondence and reports.Demonstrated ability to build strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective engagement with diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable.Demonstrated experience providing advice on cyber security practices and tools, or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge.This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.
Mandatory Requirements The successful candidate may be required to undergo a security clearance at an appropriate level as determined by DSG and will require the ability to successfully acquire and maintain a security clearance in Australia ( requires Australian citizenship ).In accordance with the Jobs and Skills Exchange Policy, Victorian Public Service employees are required to apply via the JSE for primary consideration access.
