12 + 12 + 12 month contract (ability to obtain a Baseline clearance required) 7.5 hour day

Our client, an independent Government entity focused on disabilities is seeking Cyber Security Operations Platform Engineers (EL1) .

About the role - Cyber Security Operations Platform Engineers (EL1)

The EL1 Platform engineer will be lead the development of complex cyber security technologies and processes with a lens on continual improvement.

Duties

Interpret business strategic direction and functional requirements and develop corresponding technologies to enhance defensive posture

The introduction and development of orchestration and automation technologies

Design, develop, and introduce detection mechanisms, algorithms, and search queries to proactively identify cyber threats

Skills / Experience

Demonstrated familiarity with log aggregation and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems

Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM) and cyber security concepts

Formal tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in a cyber security related field (e.g. Azure/AWS, Splunk Certified)
