Cyber Security Manager

Security (Information & Communication Technology) Full time Salary around the 200k base mark.
A strong performing and leading Australian business in its space is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to enhance its security posture and drive strategic initiatives within the cybersecurity domain.
This pivotal role will report directly to the GM of Security and act as the second-in-command, ensuring the security team operates effectively in the GM's absence.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both technical security and GRC, along with exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities and strong business acumen.
About the Role Lead and develop a small team of cybersecurity professionals, driving a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Drive the organization's cybersecurity strategy, aligning with broader business objectives and risk management practices.Engage with stakeholders across various departments to communicate security initiatives and gather insights for risk assessment.Monitor and report on cybersecurity trends and support the General Manager in decision-making processes, providing strategic insights and recommendations for enhancing security measures.About You Proven experience in cybersecurity management with a focus on strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement.Strong background in technical security practices, combined with knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.Exceptional business acumen, with the ability to align cybersecurity strategies with organisational goals and objectives.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and emerging threats.This role can be based in Melbourne or Perth.
