Job DescriptionThe Role: Lite n' Easy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our dynamic IT team.
Reporting directly to the ICT Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team in securing Lite n' Easy's IT infrastructure and applications.

The Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance to IT teams and business stakeholders, using cybersecurity knowledge and best practices to strengthen organizational security.Ensure that all agreed-upon information security controls are implemented, regularly monitored and reviewed for effectiveness.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, identifying weaknesses and implementing remedial actions to mitigate risks.Leverage advanced skills in tools like Windows Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Sentinel to enhance security across client systems.Demonstrate expertise in networking, endpoint security, and identity & access management to ensure comprehensive security across systems, including firewalls and web application firewalls.Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and compliance requirements.Provide training and support to staff, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices.Guide the business in meeting compliance obligations, particularly for standards such as PCI-DSS, Essential-8 and others.Analyse technical IT and cybersecurity issues, translating them into IT risks and managing risk owner relationships.
Provide regular reports on overall risk posture.The ability to stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, applying best practices to proactively safeguard the company.About You: 5+ years experience in a similar role within a large organisationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are desirable.Proficiency with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, and Log Analytics.Ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands security risks and their role in mitigating them.Attention to Detail to ensuring accuracy in all security-related tasks.Ability to manage multiple security initiatives and prioritise effectively.Analytical thinking and the ability to tackle complex security challenges.Capable of working collaboratively with stakeholders, using initiative to support the team and enhance cybersecurity practices.Click Apply to submit your resume detailing your relevant skills and experience.
