About the RoleAs a key member of our Security Operations team in Brisbane, you will work with counterparts across the country to support and optimise delivery of managed security services to domestic and global clients.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Management of Security Operations platforms including SIEM, XDR, VMS, Email Gateway and OT Network VisibilityLeading a diverse range of projects encompassing client onboarding, system migrations and technology upgrades, while providing strategic expertise and dedicated guidance to our Managed Security Service clientsMaintenance and continual improvement of existing platforms, supporting systems and infrastructureConducting technical evaluations and driving selection of products that can enhance the service offeringSupporting the security operations in the delivery of services to our diverse range of clientsWe are looking for a well-organised professional, with initiative and enthusiasm. You will have over 5 years of relevant experience and will have a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience:
Experience with Cloud Email Gateway, Web/DNS Filtering and Network Visibility Platforms such as Mimecast, Netskope, Umbrella and Nozomi.Highly skilled in EDR/XDR products such as SentinelOne, Carbon Black or Windows DefenderProficient with SIEM solutions like Splunk and Sentinel, utilizing their advanced modules for security monitoring.Working knowledge of relevant query languages such as SPL and KQLIn-depth expertise in managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure)Experienced with configuring, deploying and managing firewall appliances (Palo/Fortinet/Cisco)Knowledgeable in scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShellExperience in the use of SOAR or automation platforms to optimise and streamline security operationsProblem-solving attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRelevant industry certifications are highly regardedNote: The role is subject to state and federal police background checks.
