What you will do Be part of a program management organization (PMO) leading support services that provide rapid prototype formulation, development, execution, test and evaluation, transition, and training for critical technologies and capabilities in support of the Cyber related objectives.
Support the development of solutions and leverage available technologies and processes to achieve quick-turn analysis, data assessments, and prototypes of technologies.
Support a broad range of Cyber requirements/activities: Integrated Cyber Effects; DCO; OCO; … Assess emerging technologies for their potential to meet Mission Partner requirements and evolving threats.
Support development and integration activities that leverage advanced capabilities, methodologies, technologies, and expertise from public, private, and academic sectors.
Collaborate with internal and teammate technologist and engineers.
Provide input to program plans and assist with the monitoring of programs.
Review reports and briefings prepared by technical staff.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, and other outside agencies.
Travel as required to support the above tasks (~10% travel).
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters in Science/Engineering/Electrical or Computer-science field of study with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
A minimum of five years of experience within DoD cyber programs.
A minimum of 10 years of experience leading the design, development, and execution of cyberspace programs, to include defense cyber operations, cyber situational awareness, and cyber C2.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification with supporting references to verify equivalency.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to SCI based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).
Work shall occur predominantly in Northern Virginia and there will be occasional travel required to CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations (~10% travel).
Preferred: Bonus Points For... Five years of joint, interagency cyberspace experience spanning architecture development, integration, operations, and sustainment.
Experience in any of the following: Communications across multi-domains; Enhanced interoperability of C2 systems; Emerging technology (e.g., AI/ML, Digital Engineering, M&S, software definable networks (SDN), radios); JADC2 environment; Special systems tactical communications, Software Defined Radios (SDR), Base defense operations centers, Mobile intelligence components, Intelligence and data management systems; Platforms (e.g., UAS, Radars, classified sensors, sensors); and wargaming.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Expert knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Expert knowledge of the related tools, equipment, hardware, and software.
Ability to lead and manage multiple complex technical issues and coordinate diverse technical resources.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of customers, employees, teammates, and management.
