About the role
The Cyber Operations Branch is establishing a Cyber Services Team that will provide centralised cyber services across the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG).
This role will require the successful candidate to implement service delivery of the branch's cyber security products and services, including vulnerability scanning, attack surface management, secure email gateway service, and other emerging cyber security risk mitigations.
These services will be provided at scale across WoVG IT environments.

The role requires close collaboration with developers in the branch's SOAR Integration Team and multiple WoVG stakeholders to ensure the operational delivery and maintenance of the products and services in the branch's service catalogue.

Key Accountabilities Assist in the coordination and synchronisation of multiple cyber services within delivery expectations and timelines as outlined in the branch's service catalogue.
Collaborate closely with Victorian Public Sector entities to ensure baseline services are being provided as needed. Maintain accurate service delivery documentation, including monthly vulnerability reports, delivery metrics, and any other action items as required by the Cyber Services Manager. Monitor and track customer risk mitigation implementation. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure clarity of objectives and effective resolution of issues. Collaborate closely with the SOAR Integration Team as required, to enable continuous operational delivery, maintenance, and iterative development of the branch's products and services. Other duties as required to support the delivery of Cyber Services to the Whole of Victorian Government. To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate competence in the following key selection criteria: Experience providing centralised cyber services to a large number of stakeholders. Strong critical analysis skills, high attention to detail, and excellent writing ability with the capacity to produce concise correspondence and reports, focusing on trend analysis from data captured monthly. Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Experience managing internal and external stakeholder relationships with the ability to work with all levels of the organisation clearly and confidently. The capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technical software and demonstrated experience providing advice on cyber security practices and tools, or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge. Mandatory requirements The ability to obtain a NEGATIVE VETTING 1 security clearance within 12 months of commencing employment.
