HR Advisor (CIPD-Qualified)
Location: Outskirts of Chester - Deeside
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Are you a CIPD-qualified HR professional with expertise in absence management, well-being, and family-friendly policies? We're looking for a proactive and professional HR Advisor to join our client's collaborative and well-established team.

Role Purpose As an HR Advisor, you will deliver expert telephone and written HR advisory services to managers across the business, focusing on absence management and well-being. You'll work to achieve the best outcomes for the organization and its employees, managing cases related to long- and short-term absences, flexible working, well-being, and family-friendly policies.
Key Responsibilities Provide professional advice aligned with the company's HR policies, procedures, and employment law. Manage a portfolio of HR cases, prioritising activities, and deadlines. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Coach managers on effective people management, communication, and decision-making. Prepare documentation for formal meetings and offer feedback to managers. Maintain accurate case records and ensure the personnel database is updated. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent HR approaches and meet SLAs. Skills and Attributes Ability to work autonomously and use initiative. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Commercial acumen with a pragmatic approach to HR solutions. Effective conflict management and stakeholder engagement. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience managing a variety of HR cases. Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. CIPD qualification (preferably Level 5). Strong relationship-building and coaching skills.
