Overall Role Purpose Customs Broker is responsible for: Executing customs entries; and monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring compliance of customs applications within the latest regulations.Accountabilities Customer, Other Stakeholder & Process.Bills customers for services.Resolves customer issues, handles, and solves incidents (e.g., escalations, disputes) appropriately closely with the customer.Ensures good relationships with Customs authorities and other required counterparts.Classifies items based on given specifications.Skills / Qualifications Minimum one (1) year previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in a Licensed Customs broker role (advantageous)Sound knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Logistics in general.Able to work independently.Follow origin & destination government requirements.Adaptable to changes daily due to customer & airlines requests.High degree of reliability and attention to detail.Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude.Be results driven and be able to demonstrate strong communication and administration skills.Why DHL?
