About the role: Ampol is expanding into new and forward-facing Energy opportunities including e-mobility, hydrogen, batteries, renewables, and carbon. As the company executes on this vision, they are seeking to build leading digital and analytic capabilities with a deep connection to customers.
The Customer Strategy Analyst is a key role within the Data and Analytics team, responsible for how we develop and utilise customer data analytics, to enable an integrated business, supporting strategic decisions, and unlocking further opportunities with data. You will have the opportunity to build not just the functionality, but the core strategies and frameworks around Ampol's move towards a 'single view of the customer'.
Develop and maintain customer strategy models which quantify the commercial value of customers including cross product/channel linkages and marketingIntegrate commercial analyses with understanding of customer journeys and needs to draw out key drivers of results and provide sound recommendations supporting the customer strategyWork with Customer stakeholders including Product Managers, Digital, and Marketing to support execution of strategy over timeWork with advanced analytics teams to embed prescriptive analytics, measurement frameworks, and test and learn activities that provide actionable insights and clear commercial conclusionsProvide insights and expertise into strategic projects such as product development, loyalty, and/or partnerships, as requiredDevelop and present insights and actionable recommendationsQualifications: Experience working in an enterprise customer analytics capability responsible for driving value through data and insights; broad understanding of customer analytics opportunities in different business functionsExperience with 'Data as a Product', having delivered Data Products end to end.Experience with Data Visualisation tools like PowerBI or TableauCapable of working with large data sets including SQL or R, and experience working with relevant big data technologies to wrangle data to deliver insightsUnderstanding and experience in predictive modelling applications which deliver business value; ability to code in python desirableProven experience working with diverse business stakeholders, business partnering and/or consulting experienceCommercial understanding of customer profitability through P&L; experience developing commercial modelsDemonstrated experience independently leading initiatives and analyses end-to-endWe'll take you further by: Our total remuneration is competitive.
