Job Description Quick overview of the role We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our friendly team in a full-time capacity.
This role will be responsible for front line customer service (face-to-face) as well as attending to phone and email correspondence.
The Customer Service Officer will carry out general business administration duties associated with branch sales and operations.
This position is based in Currumbin.
What will you be doing?
Receive and process requests for quotes in a timely manner.
Provide high quality over counter and phone support to customer enquiries.
Prioritise sales orders and ensure they are entered in a timely manner with a focus on data accuracy and reduction of keying errors.
Ensure all administration tasks are completed within the requirements of customer service policies, procedures, and best practice.
Ensure sales orders and subsequent changes are processed in a timely manner and communicated clearly to relevant branches and Managers.
Receive and resolve incoming complaints as they arise in a timely manner and escalate to the Branch Manager as required.
Attend regular team meetings to facilitate continuous improvement.
Monitor and review keying error reports, KPI's and proactively apply actions to achieve agreed targets.
Develop and maintain knowledge of the other key roles in the branch, to facilitate support as required.
Seek opportunities for improvement, take ownership of ideas and assist with implementation where applicable.
Assist Warehouse & Distribution team with the maintenance and administration of PPE as per company guidelines and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
Previous experience in customer service/administration Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Outlook & Excel High attention to detail
