About the Role Based at our Unley office, the Customer Service Officer role is critical to our success in servicing our clients, members, and stakeholders. Working in a busy and fast-paced reception and front desk environment, the successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients. They will use their engaging, positive, and friendly approach to manage a high volume of client interactions, primarily phone-based, while also responding to email enquiries and handling face-to-face reception duties.


Client interactions will involve not only phone calls and email management but also general reception tasks such as welcoming visitors, appointment scheduling, and diary management. The role requires strong multitasking abilities and an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where providing professional and respectful customer service is paramount.


This important position focuses on leading and championing excellent internal and external customer care and experience. Under general guidance and within a supportive team, the Customer Service Officer will be accountable for a broad range of general administrative tasks, managing internal information technology (IT) first-level support needs, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day office activities.


In addition to the above-mentioned skills and experience, the successful candidate will possess the following key criteria:


Strong priority management, agility to respond to competing demands, and an ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. A passion for communication, helping others and patience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative, analyse information and make effective decisions. Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with the ability to synthesise and analyse information and make decisions.  Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment including the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.  Demonstrated proactive flexibility, initiative and broader skills through assisting and supporting all areas of the organisation.  Sound technical and competent computer skills including extensive use of MS Office applications.  Working knowledge of disability sector and NDIS would be advantageous but not essential.  About Us Established in 2018, Kudos is a not-for-profit, employee-controlled mutual , owned and driven by its members-employees, including a wide range of highly skilled allied health professionals.
