A bit about your role
As a Customer Field Technician, located in Perth, you will play a vital role working on Customer Service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services. You'll have the opportunity to work in multiple environments both internal and external but predominantly inside the customer's premises. In this role, you will be provided with a company vehicle, laptop, tools, uniform, and phone (or device allowance).
Your typical day could include any or all of the below: Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering, and splicing Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE These roles work between the hours of 7am to 7pm based on business needs and we encourage a flexible working environment. Vehicle, laptop, tools, uniform, and phone (or device allowance) provided.
A bit about you
We're seeking both experienced candidates as well as those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector. A large part of this role is working in customer's premises, so it will also be important you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated. To be successful in this role you will need to have a current and clean driver's license.
