ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe Engineering and Building team sits within the Environment and Planning Directorate and focuses on services and advice in relation to engineering and building activities in the Cumberland area. The team is responsible for the delivery of engineering assessment, infrastructure design, traffic and transport, stormwater and flooding, and building assessment. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Engineering and Building Administration Officer to provide administrative support to the Manager Engineering and Building and staff within the unit. Duties include provision of high level customer service to the unit, customers and general administrative duties.

About this role:Permanent full-time position70 hour fortnightAccess to Council's Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangementLocated at Council's Auburn office, and may be required to work across any of Council's designated work locations.Salary information:The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award. Grade 9 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,460.14 to $1,679.17 per week, plus 11.5% superannuation. The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role.
