More about this role: As a part of the Menu Planning team, the Culinary Data Validation Analyst is responsible for the accurate documentation of records, along with checking customer data and pricing information being uploaded and updated correctly in our ERP system.
The position will report directly to the Food Menu & Design Manager who is based on the Gold Coast.
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are: Ensure accuracy of all loaded customer data files within Menu Planning (MPL) into our various systems Liaise with both internal (pricing) and external (customer) sources regularly Independent Data validation between multiple sets of information to form and maintain a live and accessible 'one source of truth' data point for the business Reconciliation of different data sets including customer MMP (Master Menu Plans), for current and upcoming customer cycles.
Seek to find any discrepancies within the data sets and report them Correct and update information to rectify those discrepancies Weekly reviews to ensure accuracy of all BOM (Billing of Materials) information before it is finalised and sent to the Billing team for processing Analyse any historical or back dated client data files to ensure lost revenue opportunities are recaptured or at a minimum not repeated in future Assist the Food Menu & Design Manager with any internal or external audit functions Support, completion and maintenance of MPL task checklist for all customer airlines.
Continuous and regular reviews of our data processes and standards, whilst maintaining use of best practices to ensure the business is mitigated against any risk of losses as a result of redundant or inaccurate data.
Support and participate in projects and MPL initiatives as assigned.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
Self-motivated, able to prioritise activities and multitask while maintaining a strong attention to detail in a rapidly changing environment.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
Some knowledge of food materials or food manufacturing would be an advantage.
Previous experience in a food service or food distribution would be an advantage.
Competent in high level documentation and records management.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Willing and able to participate and contribute to group projects.
Strong or Advanced Microsoft Excel and exposure to ERP systems (JDE).
