Crusader Caravans is looking for a dedicated and passionate Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Epping, Victoria.
Location: 14 Chadderton Blvd., Epping, VIC 3076.
Salary: $84,968 + superannuation
Hours: Full Time - 38 hours per week
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Assess the mechanical functionality of caravans. Guide organisations through the deployment of quality systems and certification processes. Implement and manage a comprehensive checklist to verify all customer requirements are met before delivery. Liaise professionally with dealers, the management team, and the order scheduler. Work collaboratively with shop floor staff and cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and production personnel. Assist in the identification of formal standards and regulatory codes appropriate to the organisation's needs. Scrutinize the list of specifications for each caravan project, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards. Assist in the implementation of statistical methodologies and quality tools to monitor and control quality. Initiate changes and collaborate directly with suppliers to rectify any issues affecting product quality. Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to proactively address potential issues. Provide input into reports on the effectiveness and suitability of the management system. Identify common production errors and develop preventative strategies. Perform tests on electrical, water, and gas systems, assessing supply quality. Maintain communication with the warranty department to gather data on common issues. Create monitoring graphs to improve future manufacturing processes. Implement effective solutions to prevent future warranty claims, enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing costs. Qualifications of a Quality Assurance Manager: Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering, science, or business management. Minimum 1 year of work experience in a relevant field.
