About the Opportunity With several sites across Victoria, our Crop Care Leading Hand role is based at our Tatura location, 15 minutes from Shepparton VIC along the Midland Highway.

About the role: The Crop Care Leading Hand position is a mixture of working alongside the Crop Care team while also presenting as a leader. Day-to-day tasks include:
Complete Crop Care tasks to reach specific KPIs such as:Twisting/ClippingDe-LeafingPollinating (Whacking & Blowing)Arch SupportingAssist the Crop Care Supervisor in the training and development of team members to complete Crop Care tasks.Assist the Crop Care Supervisor by checking the quality of tasks completed.Give clear direction, instruction, and support to all team members.Participate in weekly training in all aspects of Crop Care Supervision.Perform Higher Duties in the absence of the Crop Care Supervisor.The successful candidate will have the following: Strong motivation and initiativePatience and diversity awarenessStrong planning and organisational skillsStrong safety mindsetAbility to follow procedures and instructionsHorticulture or Agriculture experience (desirable)We recognise the value that a diverse and inclusive culture brings, and actively employ people from various cultural backgrounds, genders, ages and skillsets to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of society.
