Critical Infrastructure Resilience CoordinatorTo coordinate the security obligations framework for Metro North Health in relation to the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI).
This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with MNH's values and strategic objectives.Provide high level advice to the Chief Operating Officer on obligations relating to the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act 2018.Coordinate and manage the implementation of SOCI related projects for MNH, using recognised project management methodologies.Interpret legislation and policies associated with obligations under the SOCI Act to ensure MNHs compliance.Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation in relation to the positive security obligations outlined in the SOCI Act and coordinate the annual SOCI audit program.Facilitate the ongoing development, maintenance and reporting on the MNHs critical infrastructure risk management framework/plan.Actively participate as a member of a high functioning team in service development, evaluation and quality improvement activities to ensure continuous provision of quality services.Support the development of local education and training content in collaboration with local subject matter experts.Coordinate and schedule the delivery of education and training interventions in collaboration with local subject matter experts.Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Utilise well developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risk and support change.Maintain professional standards, ethical decision making and self-efficacy.Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer.Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices.Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS), by actively supporting the elimination of racial discrimination and institutional racism; supporting increased access to health care; influencing the social, cultural and economic determinants of health; supporting the delivery of sustainable, culturally safe and responsive health services; and recognise the importance of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations to design, deliver, monitor and review the health and support services we provide.
