Your new role as a Crew Leadership Manager will see you focused on leading, coaching and developing our team of onboard cabin crew managers to be the best in the industry.
As a leader of leaders, this role will manage standards as well as drive a performance culture by developing and supporting a high performing leader equipped to develop and maintain an engaged Cabin Crew workforce.
The role will lead face to face communication with our Onboard Managers (OBMs), drive development and leadership and assess and coach a team of approximately 100 OBMs to meet and exceed key performance indicators and to build and inspire a strong cabin crew leadership culture.
In addition, our Crew Leadership Managers work with the relevant National/Entity Manager in developing and implementing projects, working cross functionally across multiple areas and owning portfolios that support and improve operational efficiency.
To support our crew during peak periods of our 24/7 operation, you will be required on a 5-week, 7-day rotating roster to ensure visibility of leadership during peak times when our crew are in base and provide support whilst up-line.
To be successful in this role you will display: Leadership experience (7 + years preferred) with tertiary qualifications to undergraduate degree level in business, HR, aviation management or related discipline – or alternative experience in airline or related industryWell-honed skills and experience managing grievances and HR/IR issuesAn ability to represent the Cabin Crew department at a senior level, building strong working relationships with stakeholders utilising negotiation, influencing, problem solving and analytical skillsHighly developed leadership coaching and development skills, with demonstrated experience building leadership capability, motivating high performance and fostering a growth mindset to enhance leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
