PRODUCTION/OPERATIONS MANAGER/SUPERVISORWe are a growing business that currently provides 1800 production events per month and we are continuing to grow.
We are looking for a Manager to join our team and help us to plan and grow our business.
Customer ServiceLead, guide and supervise the Cremation Team and Preparation teams in managing their activities in a timely manner whilst maintaining a growing level of production activity.Nurture a positive culture within the company.Responsible for managing and training the teams in all aspects of their job to promote and deliver continued outstanding production delivery.Maintain open communication with staff setting goals and targets.Assist the Client Care Team with investigations around customer complaints and expectations whilst working towards satisfactory resolutions for both the customer and the company.Demonstrate effective, clear communication skills with compassionate yet professional temperament, with the ability to communicate at all levels with both internal and external customers.Take personal responsibility for upholding standards relating to presentation, property, hygiene, including prompt reporting of loss, damage, or maintenance needs.Take responsibility for reporting hazards and risks that may cause harm or injury, and adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.Other duties as required aligned to the role's operational requirements.
AdministrationOrganise work rosters, covering annual leave and personal leave as required.Organising regular team "huddle" meetings, including sending invites, taking minutes and assisting in tasks resulting from meetings.Ensure all cremation records are updated and maintained and all activity is electronically captured.Accountable for ensuring the maintenance and basic repairs to site equipment is carried out in accordance with the service and maintenance scheduling.Accountable for ensuring all facility equipment in the Morisset Crematorium premises are serviced and maintained in accordance with company and manufacturers requirements.Support the Operations Manager, NSW as requiredMinimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Team Leader / Supervisory role.Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with growth.Effective verbal and interpersonal skills.Technical appreciation of industrial equipment.Fit for work carrying out manual handling tasks.Intermediate Microsoft suite experience.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively.Ability to make well-informed decisions and work positively under pressure.Who are we:InvoCare is an industry leader within the funeral industry, we currently operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and growing.
