PERSOLKELLY, on behalf of our esteemed global dermatology client, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Receivable Officer to join their dynamic Finance team. This role is based at the client's Head Office and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with strong team support. About the role: As a Credit Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing customer receipts, reviewing blocked orders, conducting collection calls, processing direct debits, and posting cash. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the client's customer base to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Approve and reject orders in accordance with the Delegation of Authority. Accurately allocate customer payments to the correct accounts and invoices. Check for variations between invoiced amounts and payments received. Process customer credit card and direct debit payments. Handle customer claims and reconciliations. Assist the Credit Manager in the dunning process, including payment plan negotiation, liaising with collection agencies, managing bad debt provisions, and proposing write-offs. Maintain and control the Aging of Debtors; ensure the AR ledger is up-to-date and regularly review aged debtors. Monitor and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Compile monthly credit reports. Set up PPSR for existing customers. Respond to and resolve customer queries promptly and effectively. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers. Undertake special duties as required. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Working knowledge of Credit Law. 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment with experience in cultivating healthy customer payment behavior. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
