Job Description The key responsibilities include:
Oversee the debtor's ledger, including collections, payment allocation, dispute resolution, and reconciliation.Meet targets for DSO and aged debt reduction.Make informed credit policy decisions regarding customer trading status, debt collection, and order approvals.Manage the Credit Limit Exceed report and address disputed invoices.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely cash collections and maintain customer satisfaction.Allocate payments promptly, identify high-risk customers, implement risk mitigation strategies, drive process improvements, and resolve customer inquiries. The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Officer should possess the following:
At least 3 years of experience in credit managementExcellent organisational skillsProven experience in effective cash collectionStrong proficiency in account reconciliationAbility to achieve both personal and team objectivesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in Excel, including basic formulasStrong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholdersFamiliarity with ERP systems like SAP is a plus What's on Offer A temporary role with potential for career progressionExperience in the construction industryAn inclusive and collaborative company cultureA supportive environment for skills development
