Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Controller/Assistant Accountant with expertise in NDIS billing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices from Plan Managed, NDIA and PACE, and maintaining accurate financial records.
This role requires a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) billing procedures and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end credit control process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate billing for NDIS services, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, implementing effective collection strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial reports and statements.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.
Prepare and submit NDIS claims, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Utilise Plan Managed and Proda systems for billing and claims processing.
Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or Assistant Accountant, preferably with NDIS billing experience.
Strong knowledge of NDIS billing procedures, Plan Managed, and Proda systems.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Types:

Part-time, Permanent Pay:

$65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year Expected hours:

No more than 24 per week Schedule:

Monday to Friday No weekends
