City of West Torrens is seeking a compassionate and reliable Creche Attendant to join our team and contribute to our community's early childhood services.
Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with children aged newborn to 5 years old during scheduled creche sessions.
Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for up to 10 children per session, with a maximum of 5 children per adult.
Work collaboratively with a volunteer who will assist you in the room.
Manage session activities, including setting up, greeting parents and children, and cleaning up after sessions.
Actual supervising time is 3 hours per shift, with additional time for setup, greeting, and cleanup.
Requirements: Valid Working With Children Check (WWC) is essential.
Previous experience in early childhood settings is preferred.
Ability to manage and engage with small groups of children in a supportive and nurturing manner.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
