Tutt Bryant Equipment (TBE), part of the larger Tutt Bryant Group, is a National Equipment Distribution organisation with Sales, Parts, Service and Finance operations. The organisation is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to manage the product, brand, sales and ongoing client relationships for our Kato, HSC and Sany Crane lines, reporting directly to the National Sales and Marketing Manager.
An immediate start is available for the successful candidate, and the role will be based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Business Development Manager (BDM)/ Product Manager (Southern Region) The Primary function of the Crane Business Development Manager (BDM) is to consistently develop supplier and client relationships and satisfy customer requirements.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate: Sound technical knowledge of both cranes and the crane industry Experience developing call plans and sales strategies Experience coordinating directly with manufacturer An ability to liaise with multiple departments to maximise TBE opportunity wherever possible Proven skills prospecting for new business opportunities and brand awareness for Sany, HSC Cranes and Kato Cranes A hands on approach for end-to-end management of sales including delivery process for customer, coordination with multiple internal and external parties, registrations and the conduct of complete commissioning/ training upon delivery. Ongoing relationship development skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport Sound written communication and computer skills Experience in territory management and negotiation Proven ability to sell a premium product. The position comes with a company car, phone, laptop, expense account and any other tools required by the position.
