As a valued team member, you'll play a significant role in helping build safer communities by ensuring the public feel safe and protected when dealing with the judicial system. This is a varied position where you have to think on your feet, be able to problem solve and work as a team, making no two days the same.Responsibilities:Providing exceptional customer service to anyone entering the courtConducting x-ray screening, using metal detectors and searching individuals for prohibited itemsRoving security patrols within and external to the buildingConflict resolution and negotiationActing as a first responder to any incidents that may occurManaging access and control roomsCourt Services Victoria is divided into seven hub locations across the state. There are more than 65 courts across Victoria allocated to these hubs. Your workplace within a hub can be both fixed or flexible, and we can provide opportunities for movement within the contract to support your requirements. Our CBD hub consists of Melbourne Magistrates Court, Supreme Court, Coroners Court and the Childrens Court to name a few.What we're looking forCertificate II or III in Security OperationsCurrent Victorian security licenceCurrent first aid accreditationThe recruitment processOnce you've applied online, shortlisted applicants will have a quick 10-minute phone call with our Talent Advisor to learn more about the role.Attending an onsite interview to meet the team and see the work environment.If successful after the interview, the G4S Talent Acquisition team will email you a series of items to complete and return: Your ID and relevant qualifications, national police check & reference check form.
