About the role: Court Assessment & Prosecutions Officers (CAPS Officers) are responsible for supporting the operation of the Court Assessment and Prosecutions Service and applying relevant work practices. This includes conducting initial assessments, variations, or prosecution against an individual's court order.
Key responsibilities include: Provide timely, high quality, evidence-based advice to stakeholdersUndertake an effective assessment of an individual's risk to community safetyEffectively manage individuals exhibiting challenging behavioursProduce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelinesThis position works on a rotating 9-day fortnight roster which requires attendance in the afternoons and weekends.
To be successful in this role you will have: Experience or knowledge of court processes and prosecutionsDemonstrated ability to provide human services in needs assessments and development of interventionsProven ability to pay attention to words, expression and body language; Recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusionAbility to resolve issues through deep understanding or interpretation of existing guidelinesHow to apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
