Your new role
As a Counsellor at PeopleSense by Altius, you will deliver a range of mental health and wellbeing focused counselling services, including but not limited to:
Workers Compensation Referrals – Supporting individuals with injury adjustment, trauma recovery, and pain management. This often includes providing long-term counselling, case management support, and participation in case conferences.Private Counselling – Delivering high-quality, person-centered therapy to adults, children, adolescents, and couples.Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration – Working closely with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.This is a full-time position based in Wollongong.
About you
Full Clinical Member of PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) or Level 3/4 Member of ACA (Australian Counselling Association). This is essential to be able to service workers compensation clients.Full Australian working rights.Ability to obtain a national police check.A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.Why you will love working with us
