Your new company is a not-for-profit organisation that provides multiple community services programs to regional QLD.
This position is based in Mt Isa.
Your new role
Provide flexible and program-appropriate counselling to families, children, and individuals.
Conduct client assessments, develop therapeutic goals, and deliver evidence-based counselling to achieve these goals.
Collaborate with team members and actively engage in case discussions.
Manage client load according to funding and service agreement targets.
Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships internally and externally to support organisational and program objectives.
Participate in line management meetings and professional supervision.
Engage in program and service planning, review, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure effective service provision.
Assist in developing counselling-related policies and contribute to organisational policy development when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences, with eligibility for relevant professional association membership.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including document preparation for case planning and advocacy.
Experience in delivering evidence-based counselling, formulating therapy plans, setting goals, and working with individuals to achieve these goals within set time frames.
Understanding of relevant legislation and service delivery models, with the ability to work within these frameworks and share up-to-date knowledge on research and best practices.

Full-time, permanent position, based in Mt Isa.
5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.
