12 month contract with extensionsCentral LocationMust be an Australian Citizen to applyOur federal government client is seeking an experienced Cost Modeler to join their digital transformation program.
As a Cost Modeler, you will be required to: Provide assistance in developing budget cost plans and forecasts for the business case to support the program.Develop project cost plans and forecasts.Monitor and manage expenditure and examine areas where budgets and expenditure exceed agreed tolerances.Provide effective financial control for optimal decision making.Analyse expenditure (actual & forecast), examine variances and advise on options in the use of available budget.Provide expenditure reports & briefs for OCIO leadership as required.The successful candidate must have: 3-4 years' experience working in a similar role.Demonstrate experience in working in a federal government procurement team.Demonstrate strong budget skills and attention to detail.Demonstrate experience in hands-on procurement activities.Knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) and PGPA Act.Demonstrate competency in Microsoft applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.To be considered, please send in your application to Zahid and you can call on 0433131*** to discuss further.
