As our client expands, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join the team, specifically with expertise in delivering major infrastructure projects.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in cost planning, control, and management throughout the lifecycle of projects, ensuring financial efficiency and risk mitigation.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive cost management services from feasibility to project delivery.Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates, supporting the development of budgets for projects.Perform risk and value management, including cost variance analysis and mitigation strategies.Conduct cost assessments, benchmarking, and market analysis to drive value.Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to monitor costs, review forecasts, and control expenditure.Manage procurement strategies and oversee contractor negotiation and tendering processes.Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts to present to stakeholders and project managers.Conduct post-contract cost control, including reviewing and certifying variations, progress payments, and final accounts.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and project-specific requirements.Lead cost assurance and audit processes to maintain project financial health.Support the identification and implementation of cost-saving opportunities and innovations.Key RequirementsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of cost management experience in infrastructure or construction projects, ideally in large-scale infrastructure (rail, roads, utilities, etc.).Strong knowledge of cost planning, risk management, and value engineering within major infrastructure projects.Experience in procurement, tendering, and negotiation processes.Proficiency in cost management software and tools (e.g., CostX, Primavera, or similar).Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong understanding of contractual, legal, and regulatory frameworks.Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is highly desirable.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking company with a strong reputation in the infrastructure sector.Work on iconic infrastructure projects that shape the future of cities and communities.Competitive salary, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.Flexible working arrangements that promote a healthy work-life balance.Paid overtime & nightshift uplifts (when required).
