We are seeking a Cost Controller / Cost Engineer with Contruent / Prism experience to join our team in our Brisbane office.
Initially, this role will then transition to a site-based / FIFO role within 4-6 months.

Key Deliverables: Monitoring and controlling cost activities through the project lifecycle Running reports to identify opportunities for reductions in project cost including analysis of design changes, time, resource & cost implications Provision of variance reports in respect of costs, time & resources Maintaining the Project Management System applications including timesheet entry, weekly reports and general client requirements Developing work / cost breakdown structure for minor projects and studies Entering and maintaining budgets and forecasts for projects and studies Preparing up to date cost reports showing approved budgets, commitments, expenditures; forecasts, paid to date and amount outstanding Assisting with man-hours and expenditure reports, invoices, profit and margin reports Reconciling progress invoices, data entry, preparation of progress payment certificate and carry out changes to commitments as required Skills / Qualifications: 3-4+ years of relevant experience in the resources sector with a focus on Project Controls Experience using Prism / Contruent Well developed time management skills, adept at prioritising work schedule in line with project deliverables, project lead times, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are informed Proficiency with industry standard software including Microsoft Excel and cost control programs Well established communication skills, and a readiness to build and establish working relationships with both internal and external customers is a key requirement to this role.
