Job DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity for a Cost Administrator to join our team. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities.We are seeking candidates with NV1 Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga.ResponsibilitiesThe role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:Provide necessary financial support that assist in the delivery of accurate monthly reporting and maximise project outcomes.Ensure financial instruments are raised as per contract requirements.Creation and management of project budgets, as well as manage and undertake formal document transmittals.Month end reporting, including accrual calculation, cost and revenue forecasting, cashflows and month-to-date margin metrics.Matching creditor invoices with deliveries, referring any issues to procurement team.Ensure invoices and progress updates are issued on time and in line with Head Contract requirements.What you'll bringHold or able to obtain an NV1 Government Security Clearance (must have).A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, financial reporting, or related roles within a corporate or organizational setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
