Full-time, continuing position at the University's Camperdown Campus with hybrid work arrangements available Play a key role in providing communications support to the Vice-Chancellor and President About the opportunity
The Correspondence Manager is an integral member of the Vice-Chancellor's Office team and manages the team's overall correspondence activities, in alignment with the priorities of the Vice-Chancellor and President. You will be accountable for the efficient and effective delivery of correspondence and written communications and maintaining a professional and service-focused culture.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
provide communications and correspondence support to the Vice-Chancellor and President
manage incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Vice-Chancellor
prepare drafts, edit, and distribute communications for a wide range of audiences
understand the Vice-Chancellor's style and priorities to identify outreach opportunities
design and implement processes for tracking correspondence
build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
As the Vice-Chancellor's Office is a small team, other duties may be required from time to time.
About you bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
outstanding communication skills with demonstrated experience writing for different audiences
strong organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, concurrent deadlines in a dynamic working environment
ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with tact and discretion
previous experience working for a senior leader in a large organisation, higher education or government setting is desirable.
