Position: Corporate Services ManagerWestside Housing is an innovative, independent, values-based not-for-profit housing company providing affordable rental housing for vulnerable and disadvantaged people on low incomes, focusing on women & their children escaping domestic or family violence and veterans.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Corporate Services Manager is responsible for managing accounting, financial administration, payroll, human resources, insurance, and information communication technology functions (ICT is outsourced).As the sole Accountant on the team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of business strategy and ensuring commercial sustainability by driving effective financial services, systems, analysis, and reporting.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Financial control, end-of-month reporting, BAS, GST, and FBT in accordance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and funding agreementsProvide quality and timely financial reports to the CEO, Finance & Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and funding bodiesInsurance management for the property portfolio of 460 homesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies to increase Westside Housing's financial and service delivery outcomesFinancial modelling to support decision-making in the development & execution of the business strategy and ensure the financial viability of new residential developments.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a senior financial role, ideally in a not-for-profit, and have tertiary qualifications in Accounting. You will be a forward-thinking individual, able to drive continuous improvements and have a sound understanding of business systems, IT, and processes.Westside Housing is seeking dynamic and motivated candidates who can effectively manage both operational and strategic tasks.
