The Role:As a Corporate Secretarial Administrator, you will be responsible for managing corporate secretarial duties and ensuring compliance with ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) regulations.
You will support the accounting practice's secretarial functions and manage client relationships with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all ASIC-related compliance requirements and ensure timely lodgement of annual returns, changes to company details, and other statutory filings.Maintain and update corporate registers, including directors' registers, shareholders' registers, and other statutory registers.Prepare and manage resolutions, minutes of meetings, and other corporate documents.Provide advice and support to clients on corporate governance and ASIC compliance matters.Liaise with clients, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.Assist in the registration and deregistration of companies, changes to company structures, and other corporate administrative tasks.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ASIC regulations and stay updated with any changes that may impact clients.Support the Practice Manager with the administration and coordination of corporate secretarial functions within the firm.Manage client relationships with professionalism, ensuring client satisfaction and delivering high-quality service.Minimum Requirements:Demonstrated previous experience working in a corporate secretarial role, ideally within a professional services accounting firm.Strong knowledge of ASIC regulations and requirements.Proficiency in using ASIC's online portal and other corporate governance software tools.Experience in managing corporate registers and preparing corporate documents.Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Benefits:Officially B-Corp Certified, a Certified Great Place to Work 2024, and 2023 Best Workplaces winner!Competitive salary, free weekly lunches, awesome social events (including a social club – winery tours to museum tours), flexible working arrangements, and amazing headquarters in the CBD.Receive mentoring and coaching from industry leaders and plenty of opportunities for growth and promotion.Learning and development including internal and external training programs to build your career skills.An inclusive and diverse workplace culture centered on health, wellbeing, and fun.The ability to salary sacrifice for their very own BlueRock shares.Gym membership after one year of tenure and mobile phone allowance after six months!We have our very own BlueRock public holidays to give our people the day off, on us!For more amazing perks of working at BlueRock and employee benefits – head to our careers page!
