About the role: This is a newly created role that will manage and build on the exciting growth occurring in Aurora's corporate partnership portfolio. The focus will be to implement the corporate fundraising program within Aurora's five-year development plan, drive the acquisition of new corporate funders and sponsors, ensure existing partners are retained, and grow our corporate volunteering and brand activation work.
Reporting to the Head of Advancement, you will be responsible for corporate prospect identification and research, proposal development and pitching, relationship management, partner reporting, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Responsibilities: In conjunction with the Head of Advancement, design and implement a strategic fundraising plan to increase and diversify Aurora's corporate revenue stream.Actively identify and screen corporate partnership prospects that align with Aurora's values and Ethical Funding Policy.Design, pitch and secure new high value corporate funding partnerships that generate revenue to fund Aurora's vision and mission.Corporate funder pipeline management.Write corporate grants and funding applications.Develop funder/prospect briefs, talking points and other content for use by the Head of Advancement, CEO and other members of the Executive team.Manage delivery of contractual obligations and tailored activation benefits for corporate partners, including but not limited to:PR, Marketing, promotional benefits and Brand activations.Content and event production.Corporate volunteering events and activities for corporate partners.Collaborate with internal program leads at Aurora to create and execute volunteering activities that offer real benefit/impact for Aurora programs and beneficiaries.Oversee use of the CRM to ensure corporate relationship tracking is accurate.Oversee gift acknowledgement and payment processes relating to corporate partnerships.Contract Administration.Why you'll love working with us: Work with Purpose: Be part of a mission that matters, transforming lives and communities by empowering future Indigenous leaders through education and opportunity.Grow and Thrive: Enjoy comprehensive development opportunities, including paid training, access to LinkedIn Learning, accredited courses, and an educational allowance.Inclusive Culture: Embrace a work environment founded on diversity, inclusion, cultural safety, and psychological safety.Work-Life Harmony: Benefit from our hybrid work model – 3 days working from home, 'No Meetings Fridays,' and wellness activations.Comprehensive Benefits: Take advantage of extensive leave options (e.g., parental leave, study leave, cultural leave, among others), and salary packaging allowing you to claim up to $18,549 annually in tax savings.About you: Passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.Be a leader who prioritises purpose and people and is dedicated to achieving excellence, promoting well-being, and fostering personal and professional growth.3-5 years previous experience working in business development, partnerships, sponsorship or fundraising for a brand, agency, or charity in the Not-For-Profit sector.Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, organisations, histories, and the strengths and issues facing Indigenous people in Australia.Promote cultural, psychological, and child safety and encourage an inclusive and supportive environment.Experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics, Salesforce, Raiser's Edge and/or other fundraising-related software.Experience using Microsoft suite of programs.If you are interested in applying to join the team, please submit your resume.
