Due to unprecedented growth in the region, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our remote portfolio in Moranbah/Dysart in Central Queensland. Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work an 8:6 roster, flying in and out of Brisbane.
The PositionThe continual improvement of our safety management systemProviding specialist safety advice and support to our operational teamsEnsuring compliance with all legal requirementsDriving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performanceConducting regular safety interactionsEnsuring safety compliance and supporting investigationsWorking an 8 day on 6 day off roster - 12 hour daysThe PersonExperience in Safety Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ support.Strong and decisive safety leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholdersExperience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey.Highly developed skills in communication, presentations, and reportingCertificate IV in WH&SCASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) Training also highly desirable, but not essentialThe BenefitsAs a Team Member with Compass Group, you will have the support, infrastructure, systems, and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
