THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our business.
The Senior Bookkeeper role will be assisting both the Brisbane Business Services Team as well as our Business Advisory Team to provide optimal client service with the provision of quality, timely and cost-effective bookkeeping services.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices Extensive experience with Xero & MYOB Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to prepare and lodge BAS (under our registered BAS Agent) Intermediate/Advanced use of Excel Comfortable navigating and interpreting various awards Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries accurately and efficiently Managing clients' ATO compliance for IAS/BAS lodgements, STP, and superannuation Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents in a timely manner Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and resolving any discrepancies BENEFITS
