The role of Corporate Hospitality Manager is a one-of-a-kind gig. This role will provide leadership and direction to the corporate hospitality coordination team while maintaining client relationships with our hirers and corporate hospitality clients across AAMI Park Stadium. Pre-event bookings and client management to ensure corporate catering requirements are met. Creation of staff rosters, event day delivery, taking ownership of the corporate operations on match days and Special Event days. You are hands-on and are as comfortable navigating Excel spreadsheets, creating job briefs and event day coordination as you are assisting and coordinating the event spaces ready for event day! Key Responsibilities: Ensure seamless execution of the event coordination process for all corporate hospitality activities relating to our event partners.Lead and manage the Corporate Operations team to ensure planning is up to date and on track for each event.Collaborate closely with the Culinary team to ensure menu offerings are in line with client's requirements.Lead, mentor and train a team of coordinators who work with designated stadium hirers to deliver catering services on game day for corporate areas including function rooms, suites, ancillary and premium retail spaces.Ensure all facets of pre and post event administration and coordination are delivered to a high standard within the corporate hospitality team.Optimise the event coordination process ensuring alignment with the business' objectives.Identify and communicate the requirements of the venues hirers to internal departments to ensure the client's needs are continually met.Establish and maintain relationships with key hirers, take the lead in planning, coordinating and executing major event activations across the corporate hospitality program.The Person/Qualifications: Strong and effective leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate, effectively manage, and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Positive, supportive, ambitious leader with previous experience in large scale hospitality operations and events.Excellent communication and personal skills, well suited to building business relationships with existing and potential clients and stakeholders.Proven leadership experience in large multi-function hospitality operations.Ability to mentor, train and develop a team of hospitality professionals.Passionate about the customer journey and experience.Demonstrated experience in building relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.Strong and efficient organisation and time management skills.The applicant should have sound knowledge of event, catering and or restaurant operations, as well as proven management experience. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospitality event related role is preferred.Use of CRM or Event management software (such as Momentus) is an advantage.Gema Group is a business built on great people where teams enjoy a flexible work environment and work life balance is considered essential.
