This high-impact role is crucial for steering the company toward its strategic objectives. The General Manager will report directly to the Shareholders' Meeting and will have full P&L responsibility as well as ownership of both the strategic and operational leadership of the business, driving all growth initiatives and ensuring the long-term profitability of Grineo and related entities.We are looking for a candidate with a robust track record in scaling blockchain financial services businesses from both a technology and administrative perspective within the payment and crypto sectors. This individual must possess deep expertise in payment dynamics, online services, with the ability to craft and execute a comprehensive plan that encompasses the growth strategy, revenue generation models, and operational efficiencies while setting a detailed roadmap for sustained growth and scalability including market analysis, competitive positioning, risk management, employment placements, and financial forecasting to ensure the company remains profitable while scaling.The role is based in the Sydney office.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with Grineo's vision, encompassing 1, 3, and 5-year growth targets. This includes identifying key growth drivers, optimising product offerings, and scaling the business effectively.Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations and multiple stakeholders, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high standards in service delivery across both the crypto and fiat payment branches of the business. Manage competing priorities with precision to ensure all teams are aligned with the company's broader mission.Business Development: Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities, including market expansion, strategic partnerships, and new product offerings, both domestically and internationally.Investor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing them with regular performance updates and aligning them with the company's growth strategies.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team across all verticals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure profitability and sustainable growth, in close collaboration with the Financial Director.Technology Leadership: Assume full ownership of all technology platforms, ensuring they are utilised effectively to support the company's long-term fintech strategy. Drive the integration and optimisation of digital tools, enhancing the user experience and operational efficiency across all aspects of the business.Risk Management: Implement and maintain rigorous risk management practices to safeguard the fund's assets and ensure full compliance with relevant regulations.Compliance Obligations: Understand our regulatory obligations and ensure all compliance requirements are continually met. Provide quarterly reports to Shareholders addressing all compliance, company matters, financial reporting and any other relevant matters that need to be disclosed to the board.Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are not only met but exceeded, driving the company toward greater heights.Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against strategic objectives, ensuring all parts of the business are aligned and contributing to overall success.Recruitment: Interview suitable candidates to fill roles within the company.Cultural Leadership: Act as a cultural ambassador, embodying and promoting Grineo's core values of Customer Commitment, Accountability, Empowerment, and Integrity.Your Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the IT or financial services industry, with a strong background in Blockchain and Payment services.Demonstrated success in scaling a business with tangible evidence of driving growth & achieving measurable results.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a history of inspiring and guiding teams to exceed ambitious goals.Expertise in financial management, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.Ability to develop and execute strategic plans focused on long-term growth, sustainability, and profitability.Proven experience in managing and optimising fintech platforms, with a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualifications preferred.
