About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Corporate Actions Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely communication of all Elective Corporate Action events, managing responses effectively for all stakeholders involved in client election processes. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between Mason Stevens and the third party operational provider corporate actions teams, coordinating prompt and efficient custodian instructions and settlements for both elective and non-elective corporate actions.
Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison with the third-party operational provider corporate actions teams and custodians to ensure timely and efficient settlement of elective and non-elective corporate actions.Communicate Elective Corporate Action events to internal stakeholders, including events like Share Purchase Plans (SPP), Buy-Backs, Capital Calls, Consents, Convertible Preference Issues, Exchange Offers, Mergers, Odd-Lots, Priority Offers, Redemptions, Retail Offers, Rights Exercises, Rights Issues, Takeovers, Tender Offers, and Warrant Conversions.Take ownership and provide leadership to resolve Corporate Action issues, collaborating and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.Book client participation in special event transactions, such as IPOs and placements, in Broadridge.Assist with reviewing and verifying tax components of Trust distributions for client Annual Reports at financial year-end.Reconcile entitlements, such as Delistings, Dividends, DRP Plans, and Priority Offers, using Ex and Record Date principles.Manage and process client proxy voting instructions. Experience Required Experience with a range of Corporate Action events, including Share Purchase Plans (SPP), Buy-Backs, Capital Calls, Consents, Convertible Preference Issues, Exchange Offers, Mergers, Odd-Lots, Priority Offers, Redemptions, Retail Offers, Rights Exercises, Rights Issues, Takeovers, Tender Offers, and Warrant Conversions.Proficiency in Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently to resolve tasks and meet deadlines.A proactive and enthusiastic approach to identifying and implementing process improvements for greater efficiency and error reduction. Qualifications Minimum 5 years work experience in Corporate Actions
