Corporate Accountant (12-Month Contract)Location: Alexandria, Sydney Contract: 12 months (with potential for extension)Work Arrangement: Hybrid (a couple of days work from home)About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our client's Finance team on a 12-month contract.
This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Corporate business unit's reporting processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Month-End Close: Manage the month-end GL close process, including processing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and updating trackers.
Financial Reporting: Prepare the consolidated Corporate month-end financial result and the Corporate channel model.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships with corporate cost centre owners and support ongoing and new projects within the wider Finance Team.
Data Management: Assist in investigating and cleansing legacy SAP balance sheet entries.
Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Chartered Accountant (Qualified or working towards) 1-2 years' experience in a finance-based role in a large organisation Strong understanding of key accounting principles and month-end processing/reporting Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders Desirable: Good working knowledge of SAP Experience in an ASX listed company Knowledge of Power BI How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply by sending an email to or by clicking the "Apply Now" button.
