Central Highlands Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to join and lead the dedicated Water & Sewer Networks team which allows you to use your expertise to provide support and mentor the teams, monitor annual budgets, prepare high-level reports, conduct procurement activities and ensure overall compliance within the network operations.
You will also coordinate the planned and responsive day-to-day activities of the network team to ensure the reliability of Council's water distribution and sewer collection networks located across our region.
In this role, you will support the organisation by: Ensuring the ongoing operation of the network infrastructureUsing your existing leadership capabilities to motivate a network team to achieve high quality outcomesPlanning, coordinating and scheduling daily maintenance activities across the crewsProcuring goods and services to support daily activitiesLeading and fostering a positive and safety focused cultureParticipating in an on call rotating rosterLeading, mentoring and developing a positive work culture that thrives for continuous improvementContributing to forward planning for maintenance and renewals programs.To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: QBCC Occupational Plumber and Drainer Licence or tertiary qualification in Engineering or suitable alternative qualificationQLD C Class Drivers LicenceGeneral Construction Induction Card (white card)Proven leadership and supervisory skills including mentoring and developing a diverse team.Significant experience and knowledge of water and wastewater network managementExperience in network maintenance scheduling and data collection with an emphasis on regulatory reportingExtensive demonstrated technical skills and knowledge of water distribution and wastewater collection systems including maintenance techniquesCompetency in a wide range of Microsoft programsIf you are highly experienced in coordinating network maintenance and looking for an exciting new opportunity, then we want to hear from you!
