Lead a work program underpinned by contemporary and innovative planning practices that emphasise the importance of place value and characterLead and manage the team in delivering strategic planning projectsRecognise the contribution Strategic Planning makes to our Shire's cultural, social and economic wellbeingEnsure compliance with the relevant Acts and the Mount Alexander Planning SchemeTo be successful in this role you will have:A tertiary qualification in Planning recognised by the Planning Institute of AustraliaUnderstanding of complex urban and regional planning issues and relevant legislationExperience in local governmentExperience in project management, preparation and implementation of strategic urban and regional planning related projectsDemonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve positive outcomesMount Alexander Shire Council is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
