The Role The Coordinator – Shipping Executions role is responsible for the execution, performance, and planning of the CBH Grain Bulk and Container export program. This role is key to ensuring the right cargo is delivered to the right place and at the right time, and that cargo payments for all CBH Grain Exports are received in the quickest possible time.
Exporting to over 35 countries around the world, the excitement and challenging aspects of Shipping and Exporting Grain, 'Feeding the world' cannot be matched. The complexities and variety that come with shipping different grains in different size vessels and containers make this role unique in the shipping industry.
This role is based in our CBD offices with hybrid working options, fixed term until September 2025. Key Responsibilities Preparation, checking, and distribution of shipping documentation for bulk & container shipments both pre and post shipment to grain export markets complying with Letter of Credit's, document instructions, and contract terms.Maintaining a strong relationship with Packers, shipping lines, and other service providers.Vetting Letters of Credit and Document instructions for both bulk and container shipments, coordination of export contracts of sales.Apply Government regulations requirements for all Exports including Customs and DAFF requirements and actioning tasks required for Export compliance before and after shipments.About You 5+ years experience in Export Shipping.
Strong interpersonal skills: relationship-building, negotiation, conflict resolution, influencing, and education.
Excellent written and verbal communication: reports, business plans, documentation.
Effective communication with staff, managers, external providers, and customers.
Proficient in Excel.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Desirable: Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, ICS qualifications, experience with IMOS/BSM.
